Unior has introduced robotic trimming on the forging line UK-27

published: For Media

UNIOR, a leading international forging company, one of the largest forges in Europe, the world's largest manufacturer of forged steering mechanism components, and a key producer of forgings for passenger vehicles, has taken a significant step toward modernizing production processes and improving working conditions. In the Forging Program, Unior has introduced robotic trimming on the UK-27 forging line over the past two months.

The robotic trimming on the UK-27 forging line is designed to upgrade the existing forging line, significantly improving workplace ergonomics. This innovation goes beyond mere automation – it will reduce workers' exposure to the physically demanding and hazardous process of manual trimming. The stability of the production process will be enhanced, the quality of the final products will improve, scrap will be reduced, and the overall efficiency of the forging line will increase.

What Does This Mean for the Future?
Unior is not standing still. Robotics is a key step on our path to the industry of the future. Through continuous investment in automation, we ensure reliability, quality, and long-term partnerships with leading automotive brands.
